Crista Bandini has been riding for over forty years.

She began riding in Houston, Texas where she worked under Ragan Roberts, Pauline Cook, Keith Merifield and Teri Bludworth. She then went on to have a successful hunter jumper business for over forty years. During this time, her students at Glendaloch Farm won numerous state, zone and national awards.

In 2000, Crista left the industry to pursue a career on the thoroughbred race track. She was a working rider for such well known trainers as Steve Asmussen, one of the leading trainers in the United States. She also worked for Michelle Lovell, Mike Stidham among various others. As a jockey she rode horses for trainers such as Danny Pish and Brian House.

In the fall of 2006, Crista moved to the Texas Hill Country and joined Madrone Ranch Stables as a riding instructor and barn manager. After three years at Madrone, she felt compelled to restart Glendaloch Farm again. She has relocated to ATX Equine to fulfill this dream. Crista offers an array of lessons to the hunter jumper enthusiast, as well as training and showing your horse. All levels are welcome at Glendaloch Farm which offers lessons that run the gamut from horsemanship to horse shows in a relaxed, fun atmosphere where everyone is friendly.

Riding requires a great deal of thought and intuition; it’s a dance between the rider and horse. I believe training must be tailored to suit each individual rider and horse.

Meredith Tucker

Meredith Tucker began riding hunters as a child growing up in the Dallas area. In high school, she started teaching lessons at a local boarding facility where she first learned that she loved teaching others to ride. In college, she competed for the University of Texas IHSA team and gained an introduction to dressage and eventing as a working student.

After college, Meredith continued riding and competing in dressage, while also teaching lessons and training horses as a freelance trainer. She returned to the hunter-jumper world where she met Crista in 2006 and then spent five years as the head technician for Austin Equine Associates.

Meredith has ridden and taught for Crista, at Glendaloch Farm, for several years. With over 30 years of horse experience across many disciplines, Meredith brings significant knowledge and broad expertise in horse care, training, and riding.
